The PIA S7 Sub-Duct and Cable Installation Underground course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to install sub-duct and cable safely within the Openreach underground network. Learners are assessed through practical installation tasks carried out in a live or simulated setting, following Communication Provider installation methods and Openreach quality standards.

Late arrival policy: CASS Training Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegate arriving 15 minutes or more after the course start time. Full course fees will still apply.

Who This Course Is For
This course is intended for engineers and contract partners working on the Openreach underground network who are required to carry out sub-duct and cable installation activities.
Prerequisites
SA002 or SA006 and NRSWA Unit O1
PPE Requirements
The following PPE is mandatory:
High-visibility clothing
Safety boots
Safety helmet with four-point chin strap
Gloves
Eye protection
Learners without the required PPE may be refused entry, and course charges will still apply.
Certification
Learners who successfully complete this course will be awarded PIA - S7 PIA Sub-Duct and Cable Installation accreditation certificate.

CASS Training Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegate arriving 15 minutes or more after the course start time. The full course fee remains payable in that case.
