Course Summary

The SA022 – Track and Locate Underground Services course gives learners the knowledge and practical skills required to safely plan work, identify underground services, and avoid damage during excavation or groundworks.


The course covers both visual identification methods and the safe use of detection equipment to locate, trace, and mark underground services, helping to reduce risk to operatives, the public, and infrastructure.

Day 1 Registration: 8:15 am

Day 1 Training: 8:30 am - 4 pm

Day 2 Registration: 8:15 am

Day 2 Training: 8:30 am - 4 pm


Late arrival policy: CASS Training Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegate arriving 15 minutes or more after the course start time. Full course fees will still apply.

Prerequisites

There are no formal qualifications required to attend this course. Learners must be at least 16 years old.

Learners who successfully complete the course will be awarded the Smart Awards SA022 – Track and Locate Underground Services certificate.

Courses start promptly at 8:30am — registration from 8:15am

Entry may be refused after 15 minutes

CASS Training Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to any delegate arriving 15 minutes or more after the course start time. The full course fee remains payable in that case.
